Happy Friday!

This has been one of the longest, craziest weeks I’ve had in a really long time. It started off with my house being heat-less and torn apart for the ridiculously expensive installation of both a new HVAC and a central AC unit. In the middle of the week, my parents’ house was put on the market and under contract within 40 hours, marking the reality they truly are ditching me for Florida. And then somewhere in all that my 5 month old was a train wreck with a cold and, saddest news of all, my in-laws’ beloved dog unexpectedly passed away. Needless to say, there’s been a lot of prayer this week, in both the form of desperation and praise, and the constant soundtrack in my head is by no accident, “Lord, I Need You” by Matt Maher.

And so I cheers to you at the end of this long week with the dialed down simplicity of a morning smoothie. Spinach, peaches, pineapple, blackberries, blueberries, cranberries, strawberries, flaxseeds, chia seeds, and almond milk. Perfect.
