Think of it as a pre-blended smoothie, or a flat parfait. Start with a base of plain, whole milk yogurt (regular or Greek) or, if you’re vegan or dairy-free, an almond yogurt. Then build on with in-season fruits, nuts, seeds, and other nature-made toppings such as shredded coconut, lemon zest, or a sprinkling of homemade granola for a healthy sweetness. The possibilities are endless! Plus it’s a fun, artistic challenge to make beautiful designs with all the gorgeous natural colors of fruit—and you can get the kids involved too!
